Fabrizio Capucci (4 August 1939 – 19 December 2024) was an Italian actor and producer.
Life and career
[edit]Born in Rome, the brother of the fashion designer Roberto, Capucci studied acting at the drama school held by Pietro Sharoff in his hometown.[1] After appearing in several supporting roles, he had his breakout with the role of Max in Florestano Vancini's The Warm Life.[1] He was also active in a number of television miniseries and recorded some singles.[1]
After retiring from acting, Capucci started a career as a producer of commercials.[2] In 2004 he ran in the Lazio regional election for the Union of Democrats for Europe party, without being elected.[2] He was also president of the football team Viterbese for two years.[2]
Capucci was married to actress Catherine Spaak.[1][2] They had a daughter, Sabrina. Capucci died in Rome on 19 December 2024, at the age of 85.[3]

Catherine Spaak (3 April 1945 – 17 April 2022) was a French-Italian actress, singer, model, and media personality. A member of the Spaak family, she was known as an iconic "It girl" in Italy during the 1960s, becoming a star of commedia all'italiana films, before later becoming prominent as a talk show host and media personality.[2][3][4]
Family
[edit]A member of the prominent Spaak family, Catherine was the daughter of Belgian screenwriter Charles Spaak and French actress Claudie Clèves (née Alice Perrier).[5] Her older sister was actress Agnès Spaak.[6] Her uncle, politician Paul-Henri Spaak, was the Prime Minister of Belgium from 1947 to 1949. Her paternal grandmother was Marie Janson Spaak, Belgium's first female member of Parliament.[7][8]
Early life
[edit]Spaak was born on 3 April 1945 just outside of Paris in Boulogne-Billancourt, Hauts-de-Seine. Initially she wanted to be a ballerina and studied ballet in her youth,[9] until she gave it up after being told she was too tall.
Spaak was inspired to be an actress when in the summer of 1955, she accompanied her father to a film set, where she saw Gi
