    Pope John XXIII Regional High School is a Roman Catholichigh school in Sparta, in Sussex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The school was founded in 1956, originally as Our Lady Of The Lake School[6] and is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Paterson.[7] The school name was changed to honor Pope John XXIII after his death in 1963. The school has been accredited by AdvancEd since 2010.[3]

    As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 691 students and 50.8 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.6:1. The school's student body was 87.0% (601) White, 5.4% (37) Black, 2.9% (20) Hispanic, 2.6% (18) Asian, 1.6% (11) two or more races, 0.4% (3) American Indian / Alaska Native and 0.1% (1) Native Hawaiian / Pacific Islander.[5]
